Just another way to make use of any left over coffee lol...

Ingredients

2 c
cake flour
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1/3 c
cocoa powder
2 Tbsp
instant coffee, decaffinated
2/3 c
vegetable oil
1/2 c
buttermilk
1/2 c
water
1 tsp
almond extract
2
eggs
1 1/2 c
sugar

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven to 350F. In a large bowl sift the first 6 ingredients.
2Then add in the next 4 ingredients & mix well until smooth.
3In a separate bowl beat the eggs until thick & foamy. Then gradually add in the sugar & continue to beat well.
4Then fold into the batter & make sure not to over fold.
5Then pour batter into 2 waxed paper lined 8-inch sqaure pans or one 13 x 9 inch oblong pan.
6Bake for about 35 to 40 mins.
