Ingredients For margaret's apple streusel cheesecake bars

1 pkgoatmeal cookie mix (1 lb 1.5 oz. pouch)

1/2 cbutter, firm

2 - 8 oz pkgcream cheese, room temperature

1/2 csugar
-
2 Tbspall purpose flour
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract
-
1 x lgegg
-
1 - 21 oz canapple pie filling

1 tspcinnamon, ground
-
1 cwalnuts, chopped
- GARNISH:
-
whipped cream, sweetened or cool whip
-
caramel or butterscotch ice cream topping
How To Make margaret's apple streusel cheesecake bars

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom & sides of 13" x 9" pan.

2Place cookie mix in bowl; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly & course. Reserve 1 1/2 C crumb mixture; press remaining crumbs in bottom of pan. Bake 10 minutes. When done, let cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.

3Meanwhile, in a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, flour, vanilla & egg until smooth.

4Spread cheese mixture evenly over partially baked crust. Mix pie filling & cinnamon. Spoon evenly over cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle remainings crumbs over top. Sprinkle with walnuts.

5Bake 35 - 40 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes. Refrigerate 2 hours to chill. Serve with whipped cream & caramel or butterscotch ice cream topping drizzled over top.
