Mandarin Orange Cake & creamy topping

So very simple as you use a ready made cake in a box....but oh so delicious. Anyone who has a recipe for a vanilla cake from scratch I would love to use it...thank you!

I've also included the creamy topping for the cake as well.

Ingredients

1 box
betty crocker vanilla cake mix
3
eggs
1 can(s)
15 oz mandarin oranges

CREAMY TOPPING

1 pkg
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 pkg
small cool whip (room temperature)
1 pkg
7 oz marshmellow cream

Step-By-Step

1Combine cake mix, eggs and juice off of the mandarin oranges and mix for 2 minutes.

2Then add oranges and mix until well blended. Pour into cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

3Mix together all of the creamy topping. Once the cake as cooled you can frost the top of the cake OR you can serve this on top of each individual slice of cake.
