1 c oil
1/2 c milk
4 eggs
1 c mashed sweetened strawberries (not drained)
1 stick butter, softened
1 lb box of powdered sugar
1/2 c mashed strawberries, drained

This is a very moist cake!  If I close my eyes while eating it, the aroma almost makes me feel as though I'm eating fresh strawberries.  There's no better endorsement than that!

Hi Wanda, this cake has been in my family for yrs also. We luv it, in the icing we also add cream cheese, softened. The best strawberry cake ever made!
