egg yolks, reserve whites
Cream margarine, sugar and slightly beaten egg yolks.
Sift together baking powder, flour and salt.
To creamed mixture add dry ingredients alternately with milk mixture after each addition.
Fold in slightly beaten egg whites.
Add vanilla and lemon extract.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes for two 8 inch layers or 30-35 minutes for one 9 x 12 pan. Test to be sure cake is done.
