~ Kahlua Sin Cake W/ Kahlua Cream & Macadamia's

Cassie *

My family said I knocked it out of the ball park with this cake. You would never know a box mix was used. It's got to be one of the moistest cakes I've ever sank my teeth into. My family gave it 10 thumbs up! There's no need for a heavy frosting, just a sprinkling of confectioners' sugar will be sufficient!

I'll be making this often! I hope you try it sometime, you won't be disappointed.

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

Spray a 9 - 10 inch bundt pan with bakers joy or grease and lightly flour.

In a large bowl, Beat cake mix, sour cream, Kahlua, melted shortening and eggs until well blended.

2Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.

Evenly spread into prepared pan.

Bake for 50 - 55 minutes or until pick comes out clean. It's tricky as you might think the melted chocolate chip on pick is batter.

4Serve with Kahlua whipped cream:

Beat all ingredients together until peaks form. Don't over beat.

Step 5 Direction Photo

5Serve aside cake or as I did with some, I sliced 2 thin layers and place a dollop between the layer and another on top. Garnish with more nuts if prefer.

6This cake is awesomely moist and downright delicious!
