1Bake cake per directions, for 2 round cake pans. Let it cool till the pan is warm to the touch. appx. 30 min. the remove it from the pans to cooling rack to finish cooling.
2After cake is cooled take the bottom layer cake and poke holes through with a for, Mix jell-o up as directed in a cup or a glass, after holes are poked in cake spoon jell-o mix over cake. You have to do this quick enough that the jell-o dose not set. Spread 1cup of cool whip on top ONLY.
3place 2nd layer cake on top of cool whip. Poke holes in the cake as before on the first layer. Mix up 2nd box of jell-o as before and follow same steps. Use the rest of the cool whip as if it was frosting for the cake. You can add fruit to decorate the top if you like.
