Homemade funnel Cake

- unsifted flour
- 2 Tbsp
- 1 tsp
- baking soda
- 3/4 tsp
- baking powder
- 1/4 tsp
- 3/4 c
- 1/4 tsp

- cooking oil
CAN USE A SAUCEPAN OR FRYING PAN FOR DEEP FRYING. YOU CAN USE A SMALL PITCHER TO POUR OUT THE MIX INTO THE HOT OIL OR A MEASURING CUP.ANYTHING WITH A SPOUT WILL WORK.
1In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients and the cinnamon. Mix well.
Add milk and egg to dry mix. Stir until batter is smooth.
2Using a deep fry thermometer to monitor the oil's temperature,heat oil to 350 degrees.
When oil is heated, start pouring mix around in a circle going around 4-5 times, then zig,zig across center to fill in holes.
When funnel cakes starts to brown, use tongs to flip over and brown other side. Browning should take 30-40 seconds. Lift funnel cake out of oil with tongs and let excess oil drip into pan and transfer to plate.
sprinkle with powdered sugar or garnish with your favorite topping. Enjoy!
