My family loves this as it is less sweet than cakes with all the gooey icing. Great for breakfast!

Ingredients

1 box
yellow cake mix
4
eggs
3/4 c
oil
1 c
water
1 can(s)
coconut pecan frosting

Directions

Mix all of the above together. Add 1 can coconut pecan frosting to cake mixture. Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45-60 minutes. Check it at 45 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes and turn out onto serving plate. Dust with powder sugar.

    I did a double take on this one! At first I thought, yellow cake mix, so what? BUT you are putting the frosting IN the cake. What a terrific flavorful idea! I would have never thought of it. I just have to try this! Thanks for posting this recipe!

    Hi Bonnie! Yes it's different but so yummy and easy! My husband loves it for breakfast!

    I've got to admit, sounded kind of weird but I'm all for trying new things. I'm saving this one to my recipe box. I'll be sure to post you when I find out I've been missing some really good recipes. Thanks for sharing.

    I thought the same thing when I first got the recipe, but if you like a moist cake without all the heavy icing, this is a good one! Warm a slice for breakfast with your coffee. Yum!

    I have a recipe that is like this only use a package of pecan cake mix and add a 1/2 cup of chopped pecans to the same mix as your recipe. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of chopped pecans in the greased bundt cake pan and then pour the cake batter in. Bake same way as your recipe calls. Delicious! Amazing what the can of frosting adds to the flavor of this cake!
