all purpose flour
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a loaf pan. In mixing bowl beat on low speed sugar,butter,rum,vanilla and egg yolks for 30 seconds.
scrape bowl constantly. Then put mixer on high and beat for 3 minutes. While batter is mixing, in smaller mixing bowl combine flour,baking powder,salt and nutmeg.
Turn mixer back down to low and add flour mixture a little at a time. Then add some milk do this back and forth until all is mixed in with pound cake batter.
Pour into loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in loaf pan for at least 10 minutes before removing.
