Ingredients

1 pkg
yellow cake mix
1 c
light brown sugar
1 stick
butter
1 can(s)
(14.5 oz) sliced pineapple
maraschino cherries

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix yellow cake mix as directed on pkg using juice from pineapple instead, add water to make up necessary amount called for if needed.

Melt butter and brown sugar over low heat in a 10-inch cast iron skillet.

Place pineapple rings into butter/brown sugar mixture in pan and put cherries in rings. Pour cake batter on top.

Bake at 350 for 1 hr. Let stand for 5 mins and flip over onto large cake plate.
