Easy Pineapple Upside Down Cake

- yellow cake mix
- 1 c
- light brown sugar
- 1 stick
- 1 can(s)
- (14.5 oz) sliced pineapple
- maraschino cherries
1Mix yellow cake mix as directed on pkg using juice from pineapple instead, add water to make up necessary amount called for if needed.
2Melt butter and brown sugar over low heat in a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
3Place pineapple rings into butter/brown sugar mixture in pan and put cherries in rings. Pour cake batter on top.
4Bake at 350 for 1 hr. Let stand for 5 mins and flip over onto large cake plate.
