Easter Brownies

I had a lot of fun making these. I always try and add in healthy ingredients where I can. I made this recipe from scratch, using creativity as my guide. I had never made brownies from scratch before, I usually use a box from the store.

Ingredients

COMBINE IN MIXING BOWL

1/2 c
organic sugar
1/2 c
brown sugar
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1 c
smart balance spread made with flax oil
1 c
almond milk with vanilla
1/8 c
eggbeaters
1/8 c
flax oil

IN SEPERATE BOWL COMBINE:

1/4 c
flax flour
1/4 c
buckwheat flour
3 c
montana wheat flour
1 tsp
baking soda
2 tsp
himalayan salt
1 c
cocoa powder

FOR FROSTING MIX TOGETHER :

1 can(s)
cherry frosting
4 oz
whip cream
4 oz
cream cheese

TOPPING:

1/2 c
walnuts

Step-By-Step

1Follow steps in adding ingredients.
2Then mix together both ingredients from bowls until smooth but sticky in mixer.
3Spoon into 9x11 greased pan and smooth out in pan.
4Sprinkle walnuts on top (I did it half and half)
5Bake at 350. 45-50 min.
6Mix 1 can of cherry frosting with a 1/2 of an 8oz. container of whip cream, and 1/2 of an 8oz. of cream cheese. Whip together and leave at room temperature to spread easier.
7When brownies are cooled off drizzle pink cherry frosting on top and double back over. (crisscross or checkered)
