Chris' notes for this recipe:
OK, so I am showing my age; I loved the Dinah Shore show back in the day. She was a southern belle that had some good recipes and this brownie recipe of hers is awesome and has been served many times at our house. They are gooey and just delicious!

Preheat oven to 350*
Melt butter and chocolate together, then cool.
Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until thick.
Add(cooled)butter/chocolate mixture, then the flour (you can add nuts if you want).
Bake in a greased 8×8x2 pan for 30- 35 minutes. Brownies is one of the things I try to never over bake because they get dry and lose that gooeyness.

Chris, I remember her show too! I mostly remember watching it when I would be home sick from school. Too young to jot down the recipes back then. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Marcy, that is when I watched it too(I'll be 48 this June) and I didn't jot down recipes back then, but a few years ago I saw her cookbook on a clearance table at a bookstore and was thrilled to have found it(and for such a bargain) as I remember her cooking on a few of the shows. Have a great day :o)
