CRUMB CAKE---VERY EASY

When I was a child, my Mom would make this dessert for us because it is very inexpensive to make and we didn't have much money. This is a quick recipe for dessert or it can be a "coffee cake" type of cake, also. Enjoy as I have for years and years.

Ingredients

2 c
brown sugar
2 c
flour
1/2 lb
butter
2
eggs/ beaten well
1 c
sour milk or cream
1 tsp
baking sode
1 tsp
vanilla

Step-By-Step

1Cream the first 3 ingredients together
2Add additional 4 ingredients and mix well.
3Pour into 8 1/2 inch X 9 inch pan (butter pan before pouring batter into pan)
4Add 1 cup of walnuts on the top of cake
5Bake in buttered pan for 25 minutes, in a moderate oven of 375 degrees. My oven runs a little hotter, so I reduce the oven temperature to 325 or 350
