I GOT THIS RECIPE FROM MY MOTHER-IN-LAW AND IT IS SO MOIST AND SOFT, THE TEXTURE IS SO VELVET-LIKE AND WE ALL LOVE THIS POUND CAKE, THAT WE FUSS OVER WHO'S GETTING THE LAST PIECE : )

Ingredients

3 stick
real butter - unsalted
8 oz
cream cheese
6 large
eggs
3 c
sugar
3 c
swan's down cake flour
1/2 tsp
baking powder
2 tsp
lemon extract
3 tsp
vanilla extract

PUT 3 STICKS OF BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE IN A BOWL. AND MAKE SURE YOUR BUTTER AND CHEESE IS ROOM TEMPT. THEN MIX BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE WELL FOR 2 MINUTES.

ADD IN HALF THE FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER AND MIX WELL AND THEN MIX IN THE REST OF THE FLOUR AND MIX WELL. THEN SPOON THE BATTER INTO A GREASED AND FLOURED BUNDT PAN.
