I GOT THIS RECIPE FROM MY MOTHER-IN-LAW AND IT IS SO MOIST AND SOFT, THE TEXTURE IS SO VELVET-LIKE AND WE ALL LOVE THIS POUND CAKE, THAT WE FUSS OVER WHO'S GETTING THE LAST PIECE : )

Ingredients

3 stick
real butter - unsalted
8 oz
cream cheese
6 large
eggs
3 c
sugar
3 c
swan's down cake flour
1/2 tsp
baking powder
2 tsp
lemon extract
3 tsp
vanilla extract

Step-By-Step

1PUT 3 STICKS OF BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE IN A BOWL. AND MAKE SURE YOUR BUTTER AND CHEESE IS ROOM TEMPT. THEN MIX BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE WELL FOR 2 MINUTES.

2THEN ADD 3 EGGS, ONE AT A TIME AND MIX 1 MINUTE AFTER EACH EGG. THEN ADD IN HALF THE SUGAR AND MIX WELL TO COMBINE, THEN ADD IN THE OTHER HALF OF SUGAR, MIX WELL.

3THEN ADD THE REST OF THE EGGS ONE AT A TIME AND MIX AFTER EACH EGG. THEN ADD IN THE PURE VANILLA EXTRACT AND LEMON EXTRACT AND MIX WELL.

4ADD IN HALF THE FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER AND MIX WELL AND THEN MIX IN THE REST OF THE FLOUR AND MIX WELL. THEN SPOON THE BATTER INTO A GREASED AND FLOURED BUNDT PAN.
