Ingredients

3 1/3 c
flour
1 pkg
active dry yeast
3/4 c
milk
3/4 c
sugar
1/2 c
butter
1/2 tsp
salt
3 large
eggs
1/2 c
packed brown sugar
1/4 c
butter, softened
2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1 c
chopped walnuts

CREAM CHEESE ICING

3 oz
cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp
butter, softened
1 tsp
vanilla
2 1/2 c
powedered sugar
milk

Directions Step-By-Step

Spray a 9x9-inch pan; set aside.

Combine 1 cup of flour and yeast in large bowl and set aside.

Heat milk in small saucepan, stir in sugar, 1/2 cup butter, and salt. Heat just until warm and butter is almost melted. Add milk mixture & eggs to flour mixture. Beat on low for 30 seconds, scrape sides and beat on high speed for 2 minutes or until smooth. Beat in remaining flour and beat until batter is stiff.

In prepared pan, pour half the batter. Stir together in small bowl the brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter, and the cinnamon. Fold in walnuts. Spoon the mixture over the batter. Spoon on remaining batter on top of walnut mixture, cover and let rise for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350*. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack for at least 30 minutes before frosting.

CREAM CHEESE ICING:

In medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, 2 tbsp. of butter and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and 1 tsp. milk (one a time) until desired consistency. Spread over cake.
