  • CINNAMON PECAN STREUSEL
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    pecans chopped
  • BAR BASE
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/4 c
    flour
  • pinch salt
  • CHEESECAKE
  • 2
    8 oz. packages cream cheese
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs

How To Make cinnamon pecan streusel cheesecake bars

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cinnamon Pecan Streusel: In a small bowl stir together sugar, vanilla and flour. Cut in flour. Stir in cinnamon and pecans and set aside.

    Bar Base: In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and mix until combined. Stir in flour and salt until just combined. Press into an even layer in greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes.

    Cheesecake: Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs and mix until combined. Pour over bar base and bake for 20 minutes. Remove bars from oven and top with Cinnamon Pecan Streusel. Return bars to oven. Turn oven off and prop door open 1" and let bars cool for 15 minutes in oven. Remove bars from oven and let cool for 30 minutes before putting in fridge to complete cooling at least two hours before serving.
