Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake

Oh my gosh...this recipe is the bomb! If you do not want to spend the time on make cinnamon rolls the traditional way then this recipe is for you! I found it while surfing some recipe blogs and knew I just had to try it for my family. Enjoy!
*NOTE: I would love to try this with a cream cheese glaze too! I have pics and post them tonight! This is my first recipe to post on here and could not wait till I got home..so here it is without the pic for now!

Ingredients

3 c
flour
1/4 tsp
salt
1 c
sugar
4 tsp
baking powder
1 1/2 c
milk
2
eggs
2 tsp
vanilla
4 Tbsp
butter, melted
2 stick
(1 cup) butter, softened
1 c
brown sugar
2 Tbsp
flour
1 Tbsp
cinnamon
2/3 c
nuts (optional) *i used finely chopped pecans
2 c
powdered sugar
5 Tbsp
milk
1 tsp
vanilla

Directions Step-By-Step

With an electric mixer or stand-up mixer, mix 3 cups of flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Once combined well, slowly stir in 4 T melted butter. Pour batter into a greased 9x13 baking pan.

In a large bowl, mix the 2 sticks of softened butter, brown sugar, 2 T flour, cinnamon, and nuts until well combined. Drop evenly over cake batter by the tablespoon and use a knife to marble/swirl through the cake.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out nearly clean from center. Place powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth. Drizzle over warm cake. Serve warm or at room temperature.

OMG!!! This really is THE BOMB!!! You don't need to go to all the trouble with making cinnamon rolls from scratch!!! SOOOO easy and tastes PHENOMENAL!!!

This recipe is one of my very favorite recipes. My family loves it. It is so moist and just plain yummy. My grandson wanted this for his birthday tonight so I made it tonight. Still warm . . .Amazing! A recipe you just can't go wrong making. A true crowd pleaser!

I can't say enough good things about this recipe. I just pulled it out of the oven and it's great ! I started reading the reviews after I put it in the oven and became concerned that I would have a sticky mess. Nope. I did cook it about 50 minutes to make sure the center was set. As for the butter sugar mixture sinking, I thought that was suppose to happen so it looks like cinnamon rolls.
