I found this in an old cookbook and couldn't resist the urge to make it. I love, love, love peanut butter, especially the chunky kind. And it couldn't be easier to make!

Ingredients

1 c
all purpose flour
1 1/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 c
milk
1/3 c
chunky peanut butter
2 Tbsp
cooking oil
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/2 c
hot water
hot fudge sauce
vanilla ice cream

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup of the brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk, peanut butter, cooking oil, and vanilla.

Spread in a greased 8x8x2" baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar. Carefully pour the hot water over the surface.

Bake in a pre-heated 350-degree oven for 45 minutes.
Drizzle hot fudge sauce over top and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
