water
1/2 c
sauerkraut, chopped rinsed and drained

Step-By-Step

1CREAM TOGETHER SUGAR AND SHORTENING OR BUTTER ADD EGGS MIX WELL, THEN ADD VANILLA SALT AND COCOA

2SIFT TOGETHER FLUR BAKING SODA AND BAKING POWDER

3ALTERNATING ADD FLOUR MIXTURE AND WATER
FOLD IN KRAUT BY HAND

4BAKE IN GREASED AND FLOURED 13 X 9 PAN BAKE 35-45 MIN AT 350 DEGREES TILL TOOTHPICK COMES OUT CLEAN
FROST WITH FAVORITE CHOCOLATE FROSTING

5BE VERY CAREFUL TO RINSE AND DRAIN AND CHOP THE SAUERKRAUT DON'T NEED MORE THAN 1/2 CUP OF IT
