Ingredients

CAKE:
3/4 c
butter
4
eggs
1 3/4 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
cocoa powder
2/3 c
peanut butter
1/2 c
sour cream
1 1/2 c
all purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
vanilla extract
FROSTING:
1 stick
butter, softened
8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1 lb
powdered sugar
1 tsp
vanilla extract

Directions

For the cake:
Cream butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Add peanut butter and sour cream. Mix well. Gradually add flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Blend well at medium speed. Pour in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely.

For the frosting:
Blend butter and cream cheese well. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Spread on cool cake.

Note: For a peanut butter frosting, instead of the butter, add 1/2 cup of peanut butter.
