Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

I've made this cake over and over, and I love it. Some mayonnaise cakes taste mayonnaisey if that's a word. This one tastes wonderful. It is so moist. You are just going to love it.

Ingredients

2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
4 Tbsp
unsweetened cocoa powder (i use hersheys)
1 1/2 c
sugar
1 c
mayonnaise
1 c
hot water
1 tsp
vanilla extract

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Sift the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

Combine the mayonnaise and hot water in a medium bowl, add the vanilla.

Add the mayonnaise mixture to the dry ingredients; mix well.

Pour into a greased and floured 13X9 inch pan. Bake for 45 minutes to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out clean.
*Note: You can use a bundt pan and just spray with some Baker's Joy baking spray.*

Add frosting of your choice or serve with icecream and chocolate sauce.

*Note: This cake tastes delicious all by itself.*
