Almost like a pound cake. Hubby especially likes it for breakfast. Freezes well and stores well.

Ingredients

1 c
butter softened
2 c
sugar
4
eggs
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla
1 c
milk
4 c
flour
3 tsp
baking powder

3 tsp
coco powder
6 tsp
water to make paste with coco powder above
1 Tbsp
chocolate syrup

CHOCOLATE GLAZE

1 c
semi sweet chocolate chips
3 Tbsp
butter
1 Tbsp
corn syrup
1 tsp
vanilla

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven 350 prepare bundt pan.. (I spray with pam)

2Cream together butter and sugar

3Add baking powder and vanilla and continue mixing

4Add eggs and 2 C flour and continue mixing

5Add milk and another 2 C flour continue mixing

6take 2 C batter and put in another pan
Add your choco powder paste and tablespoon chocolate syrup - mix well

7add your 3 t coconut extract to remaining (vanilla ) batter and mix well

8spoon 1/2 your coconut batter into your bundt pan

9spoon all of your chocolate batter on top carefully

10spoon the rest of your coconut batter on top and bake in center of oven for 55 - 60 minutes till wooden pick comes out clean

11cool cake for 10 minutes in pan

12Plate your cake

13make your chocolate glaze in micro proof bowl..
put cocolate chips and butter in bowl, micro at one minute(s) till melted, stur in corn syrup and vanilla and spoon on cake. I add a little coconut on top while glaze is still warm.
