- 1 stick room temp. butter
- 2-3 tbls. butter flavor crisco
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tsp. any flavor (i like almond)
- 3 heaping tsp. flour
1Cream the butter & crisco together with sugar.
2Add milk & flavoring. Mix until incorporated. Will be splattery.
3Add 3, maybe 4 heaping tsp. of flour. Beat maybe 5 min. so its nice & fluffy. The almond flavoring is to die for with choc. cake. If u like a lot of frosting or plan on "filling" the cake, make a double batch. This recipe was handed down to me by my gramma.
