- FROSTING:

1/2 stickbutter

2 squaressemi-sweet baking chocolate

2 - 3 cconfectioners' sugar
How To Make black walnut potato cake

1CAKE: Cream butter & sugar; add egg yolks. beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa & salt. Dredge raisins in small amount of flour mixture. Add mashed potatoes to creamed mixture. Add the flour & milk alternately, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla, raisins & nuts. Beat egg whites stiff, fold in mixture. Pour into greased & floured 10" tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 1 hour.

2FROSTING: Melt butter & chocolate. Add sugar, beating to spreading consistency. Frost cooled cake.
