This is an excellent recipe! I made this several times, summer of 2006. Each time it was very good.

Ingredients

CAKE BATTER

1 1/2 c
flour
3/4 c
sugar
1/2 c
oil
1 tsp
salt
2 1/2 tsp
baking powder
3/4 c
milk
1
egg
1 c
blueberries, fresh

TOPPING

1/3 c
flour
1/2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 stick
butter (firm)
1/2 c
blueberries, fresh

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2Blend together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
3Add oil, milk, egg and blueberries and blend. Beat thoroughly for 30 seconds and spread in a greased 8 inch square or 9 1/2 inch round pan.
4In a separate small mixing bowl, combine topping ingredients (except for berries) and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter and top with remaining berries.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

Raspberries may be substituted.
