margarine or butter
chopped nuts (pecans)
instant chocolate pudding
1st layer: Mix 1 1/2 sticks (melted) butter or margarine, 1 1/2 cups flour, & 1 cup of chopped nuts (I use pecan pieces). Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
2nd layer: Mix 1 8oz. box of cream cheese (easier if softened), 1 cup cool whip, & 1 cup powered sugar. Spread over 1st layer.
3rd layer: Mix 2 boxes (small) instant chocolate pudding with 3 1/2 cups of milk. Blend until thick. Spread over 2nd layer.
4th layer: Spread remaining cool whip over 3rd layer. Sprinkle with 1/4 - 1/2 cup of nuts.
