Oh yes you heard this right. "Banana pound cake". This is the lightest Most Moist Pound Cake you'll ever taste. We Love Pound cake and seems I always have bananas that get over ripe and needed to do something with them not to waste food. So I came up with this idea. and get raves each time I make this. The Smell and the Aroma in the Kitchen, & thru out the House brings my Husband out of the Garage and into the house saying "something smells really good". This was actually an accident that I put together, as I was Baking and was out of things I needed, So I came up with this and Never forgot the ingredients.

Ingredients

2 c
sugar
3
eggs
1 1/2 c
crisco oil (vegetable oil) do not use shortening
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp
banana liquor ( found in liquor stores)
2 c
all purpose flour
1 c
bisquick mix
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1/2 tsp
allpice
4
ripe bananas, mashed
1 can(s)
(8 oz ) pineapple, crushed with juice . . (optional)
1/2 c
chopped nuts . . . .(optional)

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat Oven @ 350 Degrees.

Beat very well Sugar, Eggs, Oil, & Liquid Flavorings together.

Sift Flour, add Soda, Salt, Cinnamon, & Allspice together. Add Bisquick.

Blend dry ingredients into wet ingredients real well.

Add Mashed Bananas, Stir well.
Add: (Optional Pineapple with Juice and Nuts, Now). . stir very well.

Pour ino **ungreased** angel food pan, or Bunt pan
or 4 mini loaf pans.

Bake @ 350 for 1 hr. then reduce to 325 for 20 min.
Mini Loaf pans bake for 40-50 min.
until knife incerted comes out clean.
cool 20 min. then remove from pan to fully cool.
