butter flavor shortening
mashed banana, about 2-3 bananas
cream cheese, room temperature
mashed banana, note i have tryed to add more banana but it became to runny
box of instant banana pudding
1preheat oven to 350, grease 2-9" round cake pans. or 1-9x13" set aside
2in mixer cream the sugars and shortening
3add the eggs mix well, add the vaniila and banana's
4in small bowl combine the cinnamon, soda, baking power, salt and flour
5alternate the flour and butter milk into the cream mixture mix till blended.
6pour into pan/pans bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes till tooth pick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cakes/cake. cool on wire rackes
8cream the room temp cream cheese, till smooth
9add the vanilla and 1/2 banana
10in small bowl add 1 cup milk to the box of instant pudding mix, stir till it starts to thicken.
11add pudding to cream cheese mixture mix till combine.
12put the froting in the refrigrater for 10 minutes
13frosting the 2 9" cakes. you will only frost the center and top not the side.
14because this is a cream cheese frosting, the cake does need to be stored in the refrigrater
