Ingredients For apple pie coffee cake
- APPLE MIXTURE:

2 - 20 oz canapple pie filling

2 tspcinnamon, ground

1/2 clight brown sugar, firmly packed
- BATTER:

2 boxyellow cake mix
-
2 sm boxinstant vanilla pudding mix, dry

4 x lgeggs, beaten
-
8 oz pkgsour cream, fat-free
-
1 stickbutter, room temperature + extra for greasing crock pot

1 - 14 oz canevaporated milk

1 tspcinnamon, ground
- GARNISH:
-
cool whip free
How To Make apple pie coffee cake

1Combine ingredients for apple mixture in a small bowl. Combine batter ingredients; mix well. Generously butter the sides & bottom of a 3 1/2 quart crock pot. Spread about 1/2 the apple mixture in the bottom of the pot. Spoon 1/2 the batter over the apple mixture. Spoon the remaining apple mixture over the batter, then cover with remaining batter. Cover & cook on HIGH for 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Turn heat off, leave cover ajar slightly & cool for about 15 minutes. Invert on a plate, retrieving any apples left in the bottom of the pot & placing on top of the cake. Serve with a dollop of cool whip free.
