- apple pie filling
- 8 oz
- frozen whipped topping, thawed
- fresh apples, sliced into rings
- cinnamon, lemon rind shavings, butter
- 2 oz
1Bake cake as directed for 8-inch rounds. Cool and split each layer in two. Spread pie filling, cinnamon, lemon rind between each layer.
2Ring outer edge with whipped topping. Saute apple slices in butter and place on top of cake. Just before serving, heat brandy and pour over apples. Flame and serve immediately!
