This recipe was taken from an old Amish cook book. This is a mix that replaces any store box mix in recipes.

Mix dry ingredients together and cut in oil until evenly distributed . Store in a airtight container in a cool dry place.
Use within 10-12 weeks. Makes 16 cups of mix. This mix can be used in any recipe where a cake mix is needed like a dump cake, or others. Use 3 1/3 cups of mix for one cake.

so when you use it as a cake mix, what do you mix with it...eggs, water??????

The book never days I think they use it in recipes in place of the box mix. But my thought would be 2-3 eggs, some vanilla or other flavoring, and enough milk to make it the consistancy of a box mix, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 cup.
