5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

This cake is super fast and easy to make. It's perfect for that "sweet" craving we get and just don't know what to eat to fulfill it. I had this recipe for a few months and tonight I tried it and my Husband loved it. I was impressed at the ease in which it took to make it.

Ingredients

4 Tbsp
self rising flour
4 Tbsp
sugar
2 Tbsp
cocoa
1
egg
3 Tbsp
milk
3 Tbsp
oil
3 Tbsp
chocolate chips
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large
microwave safe coffee mug

Step-By-Step

1Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. (flour, sugar, cocoa)
2Add the egg and mix throughly.
3Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
4Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
5Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (on high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed.
6Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
