Ingredients: 8 cups thinly sliced green cabbage; 2 large carrots, peeled and finely chopped; 1 small can mushrooms, chopped; 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped; 8 tablespoons butter, divided; 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour; 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder; 1 tablespoon brown sugar; 2-1/4 cups milk; 2 cups shredded, cheddar cheese; 1/2 cup sour cream; 1 can cream of celery soup; 1 pound sausage, cooked, crumbled, and drained; 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs, home-made are best; Salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
