1 cup brown sugar
•
1/4 cup diet lemon-lime soda (I used Diet 7-up)
•
2/3 cup white wine vinegar (you can also use regular wine vinegar, but I prefer white wine)
•
3 cloves of minced garlic
•
2 Tbs lite soy sauce
•
1 tsp ground black pepper
