Rhubarb Sauce

Even if You don't care for Rhubarb you may just love this. Tastes more like Raspberry. Not as sweet as Maple. Now when I put the Maple Syrup on the table they always ask...Where's the Red one?

Ingredients

3 c
water
10 c
cut up rhubarb
sugar
1 box
4oz raspberry jello
1 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/2 c
cold water

Step-By-Step

1Using a dutch oven pan
Add: rhubarb & water
Bring to full rolling boil for 1 minute
Stir occasionally
Skim off foam
2Using a cullender... DRAIN... Saving the syrup
.....DO NOT MASH.....Set aside cooked rhubarb pulp
3Measure the sauce then pour in 1 qt sauce pan
Add 1 cup more sugar then syrup: (example: 3C sugar to 2C liquid)
4Mix cornstarch in cold water
Add rasp jello
Stir into rhubarb sauce
5Bring to full rolling boil
Cool
Enjoy on pancakes
Refrigerate leftover
6If you like JAM...
Add 2C sugar to rhubarb pulp
1 4oz raspberry jello
Stiring constantly cook 1 min
Cool,Enjoy
