We always liked coffee cakes for breakfast on holiday mornings. When we could no longer find our favorites I decided to try this one.

Ingredients For pecan streusel coffee cake

1 cchopped pecans

2/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

2 Tbspbutter, melted

11/2 tspcinnamon

1 boxcinnamon streusel cake mix

1/2 csour cream
How To Make pecan streusel coffee cake

1Topping: Mix together pecans (reserve some for the top), brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Set aside.

2Prepare cake mix batter according to pkg directions and include the sour cream into prepared batter. Spread 2/3 (about 4 cup) oh the batter in a greased & floured 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Sprinkle batter with streusel mix from pkg.

3Carefully spread with remaining batter. Sprinkle w/reserved nut topping. Bake in 350 ovens or 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool slightly. Prepare glaze from cake mix and drizzle over warm coffee cake.
