Papas (Portuguese Porridge)

My mother inlaw makes this for my kids and they love it. It's nice to have on a chilly morning for breakfast to warm your tummy, or maybe as a little snack before bed.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
milk
8 Tbsp
flour
2 Tbsp
sugar
1/8 tsp
salt
cinnamon

Directions Step-By-Step

-Mix milk, sugar, and salt into a sauce pan.

-Bring to a boil.

-SLOWLY sift flour in while continuously whisking vigorously to avoid clumping.

-Mixture will thicken. Turn off heat and remove from stove top once the porridge is thick and creamy.

Sprinkle generously with cinnamon. Serve while warm. Enjoy!

Hello Tara I was wondering what kind of flour you use for this recipe.I know there was a certain brand that my mom used for it.Or does it matter what kind?
