all purpose flour

1In bowl combine flour,baking powder,cinnamon,salt and nutmeg set aside.
2In bowl combine milk and butter. In mixing bowl combine eggs and sugar beat 5 minutes, add milk mixture stir with wooden spoon. COVER AND CHILL 2 HOURS.
3Roll dough out on floured surface 1/2 inch thick cut into doughnuts, Fry at 375 1 1/2 each. Frost with glaze, sugar or any other topping you want.

I want to try this but am a bit confused about the frying directions. How much oil do you use? Do you fry them 1 1/2 minutes on each side, or...? Could you clarify for me? Thanks in advance!
