Have any left over corn flakes or any kind of cereal will do. I have used that little tiny bit that you have left over and save it for my french toast. It just wakes up that old french toast without a lot of extra time involved. My family loves it and not only for breakfast either.

Ingredients For french toast crunch

1/2 cmilk

4slices of day old bread

corn flake crumbs

butter
-
maple syrup or other syrup
How To Make french toast crunch

1Break egg, shallow bowl or pie plate beat lightly with a fork. Stir in milk. Over medium-low heat, heat griddle or skillet coated with a thin layer of butter or margarine.

2Place the bread slices, one at a time into the bowl or plate, letting slices soak up egg mixture for a few seconds, then carefully turn to coat the other side. Corn flakes crumbs in a another pie plate, place soaked bread in crumbs, carefully turn to coat the other side.

3Transfer bread slices to griddle or skillet, heating slowly until bottom is golden brown. Turn and brown the other side. Serve French toast crunch hot with butter and syrup.
