Cinnamon French Toast with Fruit and Pecans
2 cups baking mix, such as bisquick
1 1/2 cups water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter

2 tbsp. vegetable oil
8 cinnamon bread slices
2 bananas, sliced
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1Whisk together baking ix, 1 1/2 cups water, vanilla and cinnamon. Melt 1/2 Tbsp. butter in 1/2 Tbsp. oil in large skillet over medium heat. Dip 2 bread slices in batter and put in skillet. Cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or til golden. Repeat procedure with remaining butter, oil, batter and bread slices.
2Top French toast with fruit and pecans. Serve with your favorite syrup. Makes 4 servings.

Damn, you're a good cook Charlie Brown....lol....this looks great, I've made some similar but never thought to use bisquick for the batter...I'm coming to your house for breakfast.....lol.......
