Ingredients
| 2 cups baking mix, such as bisquick | |
| 1 1/2 cups water | |
| 1 tsp. vanilla extract | |
| 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon | |
| 2 tbsp. butter | |
| 2 tbsp. vegetable oil | |
| 8 cinnamon bread slices | |
| 2 bananas, sliced | |
| fresh strawberries | |
| 1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted | |

Directions
Whisk together baking ix, 1 1/2 cups water, vanilla and cinnamon. Melt 1/2 Tbsp. butter in 1/2 Tbsp. oil in large skillet over medium heat. Dip 2 bread slices in batter and put in skillet. Cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or til golden. Repeat procedure with remaining butter, oil, batter and bread slices.Top French toast with fruit and pecans. Serve with your favorite syrup. Makes 4 servings.
