Ingredients

(2-lb) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 c
butter, melted
1 Tbsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
1 c
onion, chopped
1 can(s)
cream of chicken (or celery) soup
1 c
sour cream
1 c
milk
4
slices cooked bacon, crumbled
2 c
sharp cheese (colby or cheddar), grated

TOPPING

2 Tbsp
butter or margarine
1 c
breadcrumbs

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all ingredients and put in a 9'' x 13'' pan or similar large casserole dish. Set aside while you make the topping. Melt butter in a small skillet, add breadcrumbs, and sauté until lightly browned. Remove from heat and sprinkle topping over potatoes. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
