Aunt Gina's French Toast
Best made with the thicker bread, like Texas Toast.
These are flavorful enough that they taste great even without syrup. We usually just butter them, and sometimes add a sprinkling of powdered sugar.
Double or triple ingredients as desired.

- 1/2 stick
- 1 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c
- 1 tsp
- vanilla extract
- bread slices, thick, like texas toast
1Melt the butter in a skillet. To the melted butter, add and melt the honey.
2Beat together the eggs, milk and vanilla extract.
3Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture to coat well. Gently fry in the butter/honey mixture until golden on both sides. Serve and enjoy!
