APPLE CIDER DOUGHNUTS

I Love Doughnuts! I was looking for a healthier version. Found the Wilton Doughnut Pan. Searched for recipes and loving apple cider, adjusted another recipe and made this my own version. Baked are just as Yummy!!

Ingredients

2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 c
apple cider
1/4 c
sour cream, fat-free
1/3 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1 large
egg
2 Tbsp
butter, melted
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract

PUT THE FOLLOWING IN A SMALL BOWL AND DIP FRESHLY BAKED DOUGHNUTS

1/4 c
granulated sugar
1 tsp
cinnamon

Step-By-Step

1In medium size bowl, whisk apple cider, sour cream, egg, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla.

2In another bowl,.Whisk flour, cinnamon and Baking soda.

3Add flour mixture to apple cider mixture.

4Whisk until smooth.

5Spray Doughnut pan with non stick cooking spray, I used Pam Baking w/flour.

6Spoon batter carefully in prepared pan. Fill 2/3 full.

7Take doughnuts out of the pan when done. Turn doughnuts upside down in cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.

8Bake at 350ยบ for 5 - 10 Minutes.
