ON A SHEET OF WAXED PAPER, COMBINE THE FLOUR ,SALT & PEPPER (SET ASIDE)

IN A HEAVY SKILLET HEAT OIL TO MED. HIGH HEAT

COAT EACH SLICE OF BACON IN FLOUR MIXTURE AND FRY UNTIL CRISPY AND GOLDEN BROWN. DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL

    I have tried this many times...learned it from a friend of mine nearly 20 years ago. It is fantastic. Especially good with the pepper bacon, just omit pepper from the recipe. Also, the bacon shrinks less this way and is really crispy. It's the only way to "fry" bacon anymore.
