I found this recipe in the Allrecipes magazine and knew I had to make it.
I just love anything strawberry.

Ingredients

3 c
fresh strawberries/sliced
2 c
sugar
3 c
flour
2 Tbsp
flour
1 Tbsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
3 large
eggs
1 c
vegetable oil
1 c
chopped pecans

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour two, 9 x 5 loaf pans.
2Put strawberries in bowl and sprinkle with one teaspoon sugar. Toss to coat.
3Stir together flour, remaining sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
Whisk eggs in another bowl
4Then stir in oil and pour over strawberries. Fold strawberry mixture into flour mixture until dry ingredients are just moistened. Fold in pecans.
5Divide batter between prepared pans, about 3 cups per pan.
6Bake until toothpicks inserted in center, comes out clean, 45 to 55 minutes.
7Let cool in pans, on wire rack for 10 minutes.Remove loves from pan and let cool completely, about 1 hour.
