I made this with crescent rolls and decided it would be better with puff pastry sheets. Everyone loved it better.

Ingredients

1 box
pepperidge farm puff pastry sheets
2 8 oz. pkg
cream cheese
1 c
sugar
1 tsp
vanilla
1/4 c
melted butter
1 1/2 Tbsp
cinnamon and sugar mixed
1
egg

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
roll one sheet of puff pastry to fit into a 9 x 13 greased pan.
2Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla. spread the cream cheese mixture onto the puff pastry. Roll second sheet of puff pastry to fit into pan. Put pastry on top of cream cheese mixture.
3Melt butter and put on top of pastry and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
Bake for 30 - 40 minutes. Do not open oven until at least 30 minutes have passed.
We like the pastry refrigerated after cooling.
