- inch unbaked pie crust
- 1 c
- 1/2 c
- 6 slice
- bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 1/4 c
- thin sliced shallots
- 1 1/2 c
- shredded, swiss cheese
- eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp
- worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp
- 1/4 tsp
- fresh cracked black pepper
- and bacon bits to garnish, optional
When cooking bacon, add the shallots to the grease as well and cook just until translucent. Remove and drain.
** took pic before adding the cheese...LOL
Add spices and Worcestershire sauce, whisk in well.
Pour egg mixture over the cheese & bacon in the crust.
Reduce heat to 300 and continue baking for another 30 minutes or until a knife inserted near center of pie comes out clean.
