Quiche - Broccoli Bacon Cheese Pie
- 9" deep dish pie plate
- homemade or prepared pie crust
- 1-1/4 c
- fresh or frozen broccoli - roughly chopped
- 1/4 c
- onions, chopped
- strips crisp bacon - crumbled
- 1 3/4
- milk ( % of your choice)
- 1 1/2 c
- cheese, shredded - mixture of romano, cheddar, asiago, etc..
- 1 tsp
- butter, melted
- salt and pepper to taste
In medium bowl, beat eggs, add broccoli, onion, bacon.
Pour the egg mixture slowly on top of the bottom layer of cheese.
Spread the remaining 1/2 shredded cheese on top of the pie filing.
Cover your pie crust edge with foil, or crust protector if its getting browned too fast - if you don't like dark crust.
