Ingredients
| 2 pkg | 12 oz. ea. breakfast sausage links |
| 6 | english muffins, cut into 1-in. cubes |
| 1/4 c | butter, melted |
| 1 c | cheddar cheese, shredded |
| 1 c | mozzarella cheese, shredded |
| 1/2 c | onion, chopped |
| 12 | lg. eggs |
| 2 c | milk |
| salt & pepper to taste. | |
| 1/4 c | bacon bits |
| red or green pepper opt. |

Directions
Cook Sausage according to pkg. directions. Cool slightly; cut into 1/4-in. slices. In a greased 13x9 in baking dish, layer half the English muffin cubes & half the cooked sausage. Repeat layers~!Drizzle with butter & top with the cheese, onion, (this is where I added some ham or bacon.)In a lg. bowl, combine the eggs, milk, salt & pepper. Pour over casserole. Sprinkle with Bacon.Cover & refrigerate overnite.
Remove from the refrigerator 30 min. before baking. Uncover and bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 min., or until knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let stand 5 min.
